How To Train Your Dragon: Ireth and Vespera Fable

Our fable begins with a young 18 year old viking girl that goes by the name Ireth Netherland. Who isn't a fighter but an apothecary and alchemist and has a natural curiosity that seems to get her into trouble in more ways than one. Viewed as the outcast of the whole tribe, Ireth must under go a now ten year tradition of claiming a dragon companion of her own again after failing it for 2 years and this is her last chance. Having experienced many bad moments with dragons Ireth has developed a fear of most of the dragon species. Distraught and worried that she would be kicked out of the tribe, Ireth goes out into the woods after failing the test a third time to allow her some comfort in her own mind. There she meets something unexpected that would make her life either easier or deeper into despair. How To Train Your Dragon is owned by Cressida Cowell and Dreamworks.

500+ fans?!

OMG OMG OMG OMG! Thank you oh so much you lovely awesome people you!

I never thought this comic would reach that many in number! Thank you! <3

Seriously, if I didn't have my real job, I would probably be making comics most of the time like I did back in Middle and High School where I had a load of free time. Being an adult sucks... because of the need for money to feed me and my cat, pay my bills, and buy the necessary media to draw the comics.

Anyway, yes, thank you!

Also, I apologize for my hiatus, because the past couple of weeks have been rather stressful and busy. Since I pretty much work two jobs. My full time job, and I dog sit as well. I also went to a 24 hour comic contest two weekends ago, where I had to draw a 24 page comic within 24 hours. Which yours truly finished first. With 6 hours to spare.

I know you guys really want me to update more, I would love to as well, but please understand that sometimes my brain does require me to take a week or two to recover from a big project or even a page like the one I did recently. I am also doing this by myself and the majority of my script is inside my head. So planning each page to make it flow takes time. I know I should write one, but sometimes I like it when I just go with the flow.

But rest assured, I am working on the next page. It's nearly done with the toning. So expect it to be submitted tomorrow!

Thank you all again for your support! I love you all!

No problem, also long time reading, first time commenting. Anyway, your comic is really amazing, and I have loved the series for awhile(cause of my love for dragons)and would love to see more.

Have a room mate or two? That tends to cut down costs a good bit if it's done right.

@Timeheart: Ah, no. I live with my family. Which, I don't pay rent (Thank God). But I still pay for my phone, my new used car, the insurance for it.
I've done the whole roommate thing before. It's nothing but a roller coaster for me with the drama and all. And I do pay for my food and for my kitty, or grab groceries if needed.

@yamilink: Ahh yes. the car thing. I actually try to do well enough without, so I take the bus and walk if I might. But grows more difficult at times. I imagine that the car and car insurance must be the most expensive. I'm in a similar place, but I also pay for the house I live in.

@Timeheart: Yeah, if I could, I would walk or bike my way to work, but I live like... 45 minutes - 1 hour away from my job. And yeah, the car payments and car insurance is the most pricey, well even my phone now since it's a smart phone. Even the gas for the car too since I sometimes have to fill up twice a week because of the distance to and fro from work. Though I do want to have a house someday, especially those tiny little homes you can build on a flatbed trailer! They are so cute, and I really don't need a huge living space since it'll be only me.
