How To Train Your Dragon: Ireth and Vespera Fable

Our fable begins with a young 18 year old viking girl that goes by the name Ireth Netherland. Who isn't a fighter but an apothecary and alchemist and has a natural curiosity that seems to get her into trouble in more ways than one. Viewed as the outcast of the whole tribe, Ireth must under go a now ten year tradition of claiming a dragon companion of her own again after failing it for 2 years and this is her last chance. Having experienced many bad moments with dragons Ireth has developed a fear of most of the dragon species. Distraught and worried that she would be kicked out of the tribe, Ireth goes out into the woods after failing the test a third time to allow her some comfort in her own mind. There she meets something unexpected that would make her life either easier or deeper into despair. How To Train Your Dragon is owned by Cressida Cowell and Dreamworks.

Saying it's not on the agenda: the surest sign that it's gonna happen.

ummmm.

Am i the only one that noticed that 2 pages ago, the night fury's right leg was hurt, and now it's his left leg? Or is that just a trick of perspective?
great comic by the way, i'm loving this, and How to Train Your Dragon was one of my favorite movies

Vespera is much more mature than Toothless was in the movie. Is she older than Toothless was at the time he met Hiccup?

@ladygoddessmonika: I can honestly say that she might be. Though I also believe that the females might act a little differently than males do. Heck, any dragon can have their own unique personality. C:

Dragons and story

I keep wondering what kind of dragon Boreas is, also remember that the night fury (mainly through because of toothless in the film and tv series) likes to heat up their sleeping spot by doing a low burn in a circle before laying down. Also since this is so far into the future when compared to the rest of the How to Train Your Dragon continuity you can feel free to create several original dragons. That all said I enjoy the story so far.

@dracone: In my author's comments in the page where Boreas is revealed says what kind of dragon he is. The White Dragon. It's not just stating what color he is, that's the specie's identification I found in the HTTYD wiki a long time ago when I started this comic. The White Dragon is a cousin to the Saber-tooth driver dragon in the book version. Granted there was no picture, so I pretty much had to design the dragon by myself with the little description that I had. And I usually like to stick to the dragons that have already been made within the movie and books. To keep its traditional quality. And with the new movie coming out in about half a year I'll be able to utilize it to make this comic and future dragons. Thank you for enjoying the comic, and I hope you continue to do so. C:
