How To Train Your Dragon: Ireth and Vespera Fable

Our fable begins with a young 18 year old viking girl that goes by the name Ireth Netherland. Who isn't a fighter but an apothecary and alchemist and has a natural curiosity that seems to get her into trouble in more ways than one. Viewed as the outcast of the whole tribe, Ireth must under go a now ten year tradition of claiming a dragon companion of her own again after failing it for 2 years and this is her last chance. Having experienced many bad moments with dragons Ireth has developed a fear of most of the dragon species. Distraught and worried that she would be kicked out of the tribe, Ireth goes out into the woods after failing the test a third time to allow her some comfort in her own mind. There she meets something unexpected that would make her life either easier or deeper into despair. How To Train Your Dragon is owned by Cressida Cowell and Dreamworks.

I am going to take a month and a half from updating to build up as much buffer as possible for Moonfire and I&V Fable. My goal is 15 pages of Moonfire and 15 pages of I&V fable, if I can exceed that by October 5 (that is when I shall return), even better! But it will be nice to take that time to focus on the comic and not worry about weekly deadlines.

I know the easiest comic to pull this off will be Ireth and Vespera since Traditional art doesn't take me as long as Media art, I can see the canvas as it is, where as Media, I have to zoom in/out and be super careful to get the lines the way I like them. It's just the supplies that become a little bit of a problem since I can run out of ink, thus makes me have to order refills and wait longer.

So, thank you SO much for your understanding, and see you all very soon! Don't worry the time will fly before you know it. Like it smacked me in the face...
Probably in the mean time I can draw some sketches and submit them here for eye candy.

Actually... This may be a golden opportunity for you all! Ask me a question on here, be it to me personally or to any of the characters here in this comic, and you'll get a sketched out response!

@yamilink: Do what you gotta do girl. We will not only be waiting patiently, but we will be here for you if you need us.

We're with you

We are okay with waiting a bit. If you need time it is perfectly understandable, specially if you need it for other works.

We'll wait ^_^

Question for Rune: So... how long have you had a serious crush on Ireth?

IE: Did he fall in love at first sight when he was a kid or did his like for her strong and independent character build up over time until he realized it was more than just feelings of friendship?

Question for Daddy

Here is my question To Ireth's father: Do you miss your daughter? Like do you ever want to come home and see her?

Question to Author: How long has he been gone again? Does he know about the change over? You know, from fighting to training dragons? If so what's his opinion on it? Like does it bother him or na?
